There is an app for that! Seriously, the Methodist Church of the UK has created an i-phone app that provides a Word in Time bible study along with a prayer for the day, and links to podcasts. I think this is a good tool for inviting God into lives using technology at hand. God wants to reach us and this is one way.

Thanks for sharing!

In regard to 80% "not churched" who are in their level of grief regarding funeral of loved ones/realatives and do not have a minister to conduct a loved ones funeral....

Perhaps a luncheon provided by our church {once every year} that invited directors or a representative of the Funeral Homes in our immediate service area of Glendale, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Rock Hill, Fenton, Crestwood, etc. to come to the CLC and give them our "information" concerning what we have to offer at WHUM. for those in need at this time in their life.

School Districts do this type of information sharing for Real Estate Agents, Insurance Companies, and groups of business in their district just so they have the facts and what is offerred and it usually lasts about one-hour and also is a social time for the funeral personnel to meet and talk.

Even if you would actually not do the services (I know this could be most time-consuming as it would entail visitations before and during the funeral, we would perhaps be able to give the directors or their representatives a nice packet of information regarding what our church has to offer as a contact - we do have so much. It is a local outreach/mission. We can talk if you want to do so......
